Mr. Blood is the firm’s managing partner. His practice has focused on complex litigation, including class action litigation, since the early 1990’s. Mr. Blood has tried class action cases and is highly regarded in the field of consumer protection law, including California’s Unfair Competition Law and Consumers Legal Remedies Act.

Mr. Blood has represented millions of retail consumers, holders of life, automobile and homeowner insurance policies, mortgagors, credit card customers, homeowners, and victims of race discrimination. He practices in both state and federal courts throughout the country, and has represented the interests of consumers formally or informally before the Federal Trade Commission, the California Department of Justice, the California Legislative Analyst’s Office and the California Department of Insurance. He has worked with the Federal Trade Commission to obtain record setting recoveries for consumers. In In re Skechers Toning Shoes Prods. Liab. Litig., Mr. Blood’s work with the Federal Trade Commission resulted in the largest consumer recovery in a false advertising action in FTC history.

Ben Barnow is nationally recognized for his experience in leading some of the nation’s largest consumer class actions. He has successfully led the prosecution of a number of large-scale class actions relating to consumer protection issues, consumer data security breaches, and antitrust violations. His representation is both on the trial court and appellate level.

During his over forty-year legal career, Mr. Barnow has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in many types of litigation.

Mr. Barnow received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.

Gary is a nationally recognized leader of the class action bar. Focusing on consumer class actions and mass torts, Gary has recovered more than $1.5 billion in the 22 years he has represented plaintiffs.

With his broad experience, Gary is nationally known for representing consumers in class actions involving a wide range of defective products, including Chinese drywall, fire retardant plywood, polybutylene pipe, high-temperature plastic venting, hardboard siding, pharmaceutical products, consumer electronics and automobiles.

Gary has served in leadership positions in many consumer class actions in State and Federal Courts nationwide as well as in Multi-District Litigation (see Practice Highlights, below).

Gary graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Brown University in 1984 and earned his law degree from Duke University Law School. He then clerked for the Honorable Andrew J. Kleinfeld, U.S. District Court Judge, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Daniel S. Robinson is a partner in the Newport Beach office of Robinson Calcagnie‚ Inc.‚ specializing in civil litigation. Mr. Robinson is admitted to practice law in New York‚ Pennsylvania and California. Mr. Robinson has conducted several trials to date‚ including a 17-day trial in 2010 where a Los Angeles jury Motorcycle Accident Top Verdictreturned a verdict of $14‚548‚350.76 for a plaintiff who became a paraplegic when defendant’s SUV ran a stop sign. In August 2015, Mr. Robinson was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2016 for the third year in a row. In June 2015, Mr. Robinson was selected by the Daily Journal as one of the Top 25 Plaintiffs Lawyers in California for 2015. In January 2015, he was named one of the Daily Journal’s Top 20 Attorneys Under 40 in California for 2015. Tina Wolfson has been a litigator since 1994, with an emphasis on the representation of plaintiffs in employment and consumer class action lawsuits. Tina graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1994. After law school, Tina began her legal career at Morrison & Foerster, LLP, where she practiced complex business litigation. She also represented indigent individuals in immigration and deportation trials, contributing to Morrison & Foerster’s longstanding commitment to pro bono work. Tina then gained further litigation experience as an associate attorney at a boutique law firm, focusing her practice on the representation of plaintiffs in civil rights and employment cases. In 1998, Tina and Robert Ahdoot founded Ahdoot & Wolfson, PC, establishing a distinguished practice of consumer protection, employment litigation, and complex business litigation. Tina is licensed to practice in California, New York, and the District of Columbia and focuses on consumer class actions involving deceptive business practices, false advertising, and invasions of privacy. She has been appointed plaintiffs’ lead counsel in numerous consumer class actions. Tina frequently lectures throughout the nation on class action topics.
