TRENTON, N.J. - A class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of all New Jersey residents who have been prescribed and have ingested OxyContin from 1995 to the present, alleging that OxyContin's controlled time-release feature was flawed and that drugmakers Purdue Pharma and Abbott Laboratories concealed their knowledge of the flaw. Devoe v. P.F. Laboratories, Inc., et al., No. n/a (N.J. Super. Ct., Mercer Cty.).
