PHILADELPHIA - Reliance National Insurance (Europe) Corp. is urging a Pennsylvania federal judge to compel arbitration of a dispute over whether its reinsurer can deny payment for future claims on the basis of material misrepresentation. Reliance National Insurance Company (Europe) Ltd. v. CX Reinsurance Company Ltd., No. 2:07-cv-01351-NS (E.D. Pa.).

On March 25, Judge Norma L. Shapiro of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania heard oral argument on RNICE's first amended petition to compel arbitration.
