N.J. Order Stays PPA Litigation, Appoints Liaison Counsel

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Following consolidation of New Jersey cases involving the over-the-counter drug additive phenylpropanolamine (PPA), a judge overseeing the litigation has entered a case management order laying the ground rules for future proceedings. In Re: PPA, Case Code No. 264 (N.J. Super. Ct., Middlesex Cty.).

The order was entered Nov. 27 in Middlesex County Superior Court by Judge Marina Corodemus. Middlesex County is also the site of consolidated New Jersey state litigation involving the drugs Rezulin and Propulsid.
