Pretrial Order Resolves Move to Consolidate All Pending Propulsid Cases

NEW ORLEANS - An order has been entered in the Propulsid MDL, effectively negating the need for defendants' motion to stay state court proceedings while the MDL court determines whether state and federal cases should be consolidated. In Re: Propulsid Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1355 (E.D. La.).

Pretrial Order No. 14 issued Nov. 30 indicates that an agreement has been reached between MDL plaintiffs, plaintiffs in state court actions and defendants named in the Propulsid claims over matters subject to defendant Johnson & Johnson's motion for an injunction compelling the coordination of all pending Propulsid cases.
