Benzene Parties File Case Statements, Indicate Medical Damages Sought

LOS ANGELES -- In a May 3 statement of compliance, California benzene plaintiffs reported that while defendants in the case would like to retain the right to move to transfer the proceedings, they would oppose such a motion. Marsolais, et al. v. Does 1 Through 1000, inclusive, No. BC332581 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The statement filed in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County also noted that the parties agreed that it would be premature to reach a bifurcation decision and that it was undetermined whether the case was considered complex.
