MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Alabama Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments addressing the constitutionality of the state's two-year statute of limitations. Cline v. Ashland Inc., et al., No. 1041076 (Ala. Sup. Ct.).

On April 4, the high court will address the question of whether a benzene plaintiff was denied due process when a trial court found his claims were barred by the statute of limitations. The Supreme Court scheduled the oral arguments as a special session in front of law students and faculty at the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Ala.
