W.R. Grace Files Response in MDL to Zonolite Attic Insulation Claims

BOSTON - W.R. Grace & Co., manufacturers of Zonolite Attic Insulation, have filed a memorandum in federal court that communicates the company's position that its product is not dangerous and that lawsuits filed over the tremolite-containing insulation have no merit. In re: Zonolite Attic Insulation Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1376 (D. Mass.).

The Memorandum Concerning The Merits was filed in late January in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, where several class actions filed by residents who have outfitted their homes with the product have been consolidated under MDL No. 1376.
