GALVESTON, Texas -- The defendants remaining in a benzene case have settled their claims before the June 27 trial date, sources have told HarrisMartin Publishing. Allen, et al. v. Bayer Corp., et al., No. 02CV1442 (Texas 10th Jud. Dist., Galveston Cty.).

Plaintiffs Harold and Betty Allen claimed in the lawsuit filed in the 10th Judicial District in Galveston County, Texas, that Harold Allen was exposed to the benzene-containing product Liquid Wrench for more than 10 years.
