OAKLAND, Calif. -- A June 29 trial date is set for a pipe fitter's claim that benzene exposure caused his non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Hooper v. Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc., et al., No. RG04171297 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

In a June 10 in limine motion filed in the California Superior Court for Alameda County, defendant Chevron objected to the plaintiff's deposition excerpts that were set to be used at trial instead of live testimony.
