Calif. Court Set to Hear Product Identification Arguments in Benzene Case

LOS ANGELES -- A California court is set to hear arguments relating to a benzene defendant's motion for summary judgment based on the ground that the plaintiffs have been unsuccessful in identifying a product manufactured by the defendant as a factor in the alleged injury. Loyola, et al. v. Union Oil Co. of California, et al., No. BC280498 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
According to a notice filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court April 22, a hearing on the summary judgment motion will take place June 15.
