Judge Addresses Litigation Expenses Incurred in 3rd Party Actions in Beechwood Re Litigation

NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has determined the amount of litigation expenses Beechwood Re and its affiliates are entitled to under investment management agreements for third-party actions arising from a fraud lawsuit filed by Senior Health Insurance Company of Pennsylvania.

In a Sept. 13 order, Judge Jed Rakoff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York held that the payments should be made within 14 days of the date of the order.
