NEW ORLEANS –– A new benzene complaint has been filed in Louisiana state court, with the plaintiffs contending that in utero exposure to benzene-containing paint, and other chemical products, caused their son to develop Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
In the recently filed complaint filed in the Louisiana Civil District Court for Orleans Parish, the plaintiffs alleged that the mother of the injured minor inhaled benzene fumes staring in her second trimester of pregnancy.
