J&J Files Brief, Requests Oral Argument in Appeal of $110 Million Talc Ovarian Cancer Verdict

ST. LOUIS –– Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. have filed their brief in their appeal of a $110 million verdict in a talcum powder ovarian cancer case, asserting a number of assignments of error, including a lower court decision rejecting personal jurisdiction challenges.

On June 3, the defendants also asked the Missouri Eastern District Court of Appeals for oral argument in the matter.
