Howmedica Moves to Exclude Plaintiff’s Expert Testimony in N.Y. Hip Case

NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has allowed Howmedica Osteonics Corp. to renew its motion to exclude expert testimony in a hip implant case and for summary judgment.

On May 2, Judge Kenneth Karas of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York granted Howmedica’s request to renew its motion, in which it argues that the plaintiff has continued to miss discovery deadlines, despite the court’s warning that her case will be dismissed if she continues to do so.
