C-8 Water Contamination Parties Exchange Briefing on Trials for Newly Filed Cases

COLUMBUS, Ohio –– The parties involved in the C-8 water contamination multidistrict litigation docket have exchanged briefing as to future trials for cases filed since a global settlement was reached, with the plaintiffs urging the MDL Court to adopt a multi-plaintiff trial schedule.

In an April 16 brief filed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the plaintiffs noted that there are currently no settlement negotiations between the parties, “despite the parties having successfully resolved over 3,500 cases in this MDL through a global settlement.”
