ST. LOUIS –– The Johnson & Johnson defendants involved in a multi-plaintiff talcum powder ovarian cancer case that was scheduled to be tried in January before the Missouri Supreme Court stopped it have filed a brief in support of their position that the claims should be severed and transferred, arguing that that joinder of plaintiffs who have “zero connection to the City of St. Louis with those of a single plaintiff whose claims are properly venued there is contrary to Missouri law.”
