New Study Says Glyphosate Herbicide Exposure Raises Cancer Risk by 41 Percent

NEW YORK –– A recent study has linked exposure to glyphosate-based herbicide exposure to an “increased risk of NHL in humans,” with the authors concluding that “the overall evidence from human, animal, and mechanistic studies presented here supports a compelling link between exposures to GBHs and increased risk for NHL.”

In the study entitled “Exposure to Glyphosate-Based Herbicides and Risk for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: A Meta-Analysis and Supporting Evidence,” and published online on Feb. 10 in Mutation Research, the authors specifically found a 41 percent increase in the risk of developing cancer among the herbicide users.
