Ind. Federal Judge Remands/Transfers 11 Biomet M2a Magnum Hip Cases to Home Venues

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The Indiana federal judge overseeing the Biomet M2a Magnum hip multidistrict litigation docket has remanded or transferred 11 cases included in Proposed Remand/Transfer Group 2 to their home venues.

In a Dec. 12 order, Judge Robert L. Miller Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana remanded Cochran, Morningstar, Herrera, Slater, Milligan, Hippe, George, Kleinhuizen, Cutter, Mason and Edwards.

Judge Miller explained that he had deferred ruling on the parties’ request to remand or transfer the cases to give the parties and the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation an opportunity to address …
