SOUTH BEND, Ind. — An Indiana federal judge has dismissed a Biomet Magnum hip implant case as time-barred, ruling that the plaintiff should have filed suit within Ohio’s two-year statute of limitations for product liability claims.

In a Dec. 14 order, Judge Robert L. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana found the plaintiff’s inability to find a lawyer to pursue her claim did not toll the limitations period.
