Plaintiffs in Zimmer M/L Taper Hip MDL Seek Appointment of Executive Committee, PSC

NEW YORK — Plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation involving the Zimmer M/L Taper Hip or M/L Taper Hip with Kinectiv Technology and VerSys Femoral Head have asked a New York federal judge to appoint a plaintiffs’ executive committee.

In a Nov. 12 letter to Judge Paul A. Crotty of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, plaintiffs’ counsel asserted that appointment of a PEC “would avoid wasting time and money, confusion and misdirection of the litigation, or burdening the Court unnecessarily.”
