WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. –– A Florida state court has struck a plaintiffs’ re-notice for trial in a talcum powder case, noting that there a motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction is still pending and explaining that the parties had recently moved for a continuance of a summary jury trial, only to re-noticed the case for trial less than one week later.

In a hand-written Oct. 29 order, the Florida 15th Judicial Circuit Court for Palm Beach County stated that the case “is not at issue.”
