Fla. State Court Judge Sets Asbestos Talcum Powder Case for Non-Binding Summary Jury Trial

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. –– A Florida state court has scheduled an asbestos talcum powder case for a non-binding summary jury trial so that the parties “may obtain lay perceptions of the parties’ positions as aids to further settlement discussions.”

In an Oct. 2 order, the Florida 15th Judicial Circuit Court for Palm Beach County scheduled the one-day non-binding summary jury trial for the docket period of Dec. 10 through Jan. 18.
