PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania woman is appealing a federal judge’s dismissal as time-barred her lawsuit alleging injuries caused by Zimmer Inc.’s Kinectiv Technology hip implant system with a VerSys femoral head.

According to a Sept. 10 notice of appeal, plaintiff Marilyn Adams will challenge to the 3rd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals the judge’s determination that plaintiff knew or should have known more than two years before filing suit that her hip pain may be linked to the device.
