C.R. Bard Denied New Trial Following $3.6 Million Verdict in Federal IVC Filter Case

PHOENIX — An Arizona federal judge has denied C.R. Bard’s motion for judgment as a matter of law in the wake of an adverse $3.6 million award in an IVC filter case, ruling the evidence supported the jury’s finding that the manufacturer negligently failed to adequately warn the plaintiff’s doctor of the device’s risks.
