Odyssey Re Moves to Certify $3.2 Million Default Judgment as Final

SAN DIEGO — Odyssey Reinsurance Co. has asked a California federal judge to certify as final a $3.2 million default judgment against Pacific Brokers Insurance Services (PBIS) and Cal-Regent Insurance Services Corp., arguing that it will allow the reinsurer to pursue satisfaction of the judgment.

In a Jan. 12 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, Odyssey Re maintains that there is no just reason for delaying certification.
