Missouri High Court Requests Full Briefing on Venue in Talcum Powder Case




ST. LOUIS –- The Missouri Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments and requested full briefing on a venue dispute in what was scheduled to be the seventh talcum powder case to proceed to trial in St. Louis County Circuit Court.

Oral arguments are scheduled to take place Feb. 27, according to a Dec. 12 docket entry.

In October, just three days before the trial of talcum powder claims brought by Michael Blaes were scheduled to be tried, the Missouri Supreme Court issued preliminary writs of prohibition in dockets created for petitions filed separately by Johnson & Johnson and Imerys …
