8th Circuit Holds Oral Arguments, Hears Defense Challenges to $1.76 Million Benzene Judgment




ST. LOUIS –– The 8th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has heard oral arguments and is now weighing defense challenges to a $1.76 million judgment entered in a benzene case last year.

According to a docket entry, the appellate court heard oral arguments on Oct. 18. Judges Lavenski R. Smith, Raymond W. Gruender and Duane Benton in Division I were scheduled to oversee the arguments.
