AmTrust Seeks Dismissal of Odyssey Re’s Injunctive Relief Claim in $3.2 Million Action

SAN DIEGO — AmTrust North America Inc. has asked a California federal judge to dismiss a claim for injunctive relief asserted by Odyssey Reinsurance Co. in a lawsuit seeking payment of a $3.2 million judgment, arguing there is no valid legal basis for the claim.

In a Sept. 29 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, AmTrust argues the complaint asserts no allegations of misconduct against it.
