MOBILE, Ala. — Munich Reinsurance America Inc. is urging an Alabama federal judge to deny Alabama Municipal Insurance Corp.’s motion to stay a $1.3 million reinsurance dispute pending arbitration, arguing that AMIC has waived its right to arbitrate because it “substantially invoked the litigation process, thereby prejudicing” Munich Re.
