Plaintiffs in DePuy ASR Action Ordered to Supplement Discovery Responses

SAN FRANCISCO — A California judge has ordered the plaintiffs in a DePuy ASR hip implant case to produce documents relating to their physical activities, medical records and business income, ruling that the information is relevant to their claims for damages, medical expenses and lost wages.

However, in the July 17 order, Judge Mary E. Wiss of the San Francisco County Superior Court held that plaintiffs are not required to produce their tax returns because they are privileged.
