Benzene Defendants File Supplemental Motion Opposing Motion to Remand

PHILADELPHIA –– Defendants involved in a Pennsylvania benzene case have filed a supplemental memorandum of law in opposition to the plaintiffs’ second motion to remand, maintaining the court “undeniably” has subject matter jurisdiction over the claims.

In a June 30 brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, defendants CRC Industries and Sunoco further argued that 30 days had passed since the case was removed, making the plaintiffs’ motion untimely.
