Calif. Jury Reaches Defense Verdict for John Crane, Triple A Machine Shop in Asbestos Case

SAN FRANCISCO –– A California jury has reached a defense verdict in a case involving exposure to asbestos-containing gaskets and packing products, in part finding that John Crane’s failure to warn of dangers associated with its products were not a substantial contributing factor in the plaintiff’s illness.

Judge Brad Seligman of the California Superior Court for Alameda County presided over the trial, which ended in a verdict on May 26. Trial in the matter began on May 1, according to the court’s online docket.
