R&Q Asks Pa. Federal Judge to Compel St. Paul to Produce Unredacted Reserves, Reinsurance Info

PHILADELPHIA — In a $4.4 million reinsurance dispute involving underlying asbestos claims, R&Q Reinsurance Co. has asked a Pennsylvania federal judge to compel St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Co. to produce all documents it redacted or withheld concerning reserves, reinsurance and/or proprietary information.

In a June 1 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, R&Q also seeks an order requiring St. Paul to produce an amended privilege log and to respond in full to R&Q’s second set of interrogatories.
