Calif. Jury Reaches Defense Verdict for Ford Motor, Henry Co. at Conclusion of Asbestos Trial

LOS ANGELES –– A California jury has reached a defense verdict in favor of Ford Motor Co., and Henry Company, LLC, at the conclusion of an asbestos trial, rejecting the plaintiffs’ position that exposure to the former defendant’s friction products and the latter defendant’s roofing cement caused one of the plaintiffs to develop mesothelioma.

The California Superior Court for Los Angeles County jury reached the verdict on March 22, sources told HarrisMartin. The verdict was unanimous in favor of Ford Motor Co., and 9-3 in favor of Henry Co., LLC.
