Talcum Powder MDL Judge Signs Stipulation Dismissing Claims Against Personal Care Products Council in 1 Case

NEWARK, N.J. –– The judge overseeing the coordinated multidistrict litigation docket for talcum powder claims has signed a stipulation for dismissal of claims against the Personal Care Products Council with prejudice in one of the pending cases.

The U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey signed the amended stipulation on March 20.

Plaintiff Robert Gendelman asserted the claims on behalf of Sherri Gendelman in a Nov. 2016 complaint filed in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas; the case was later removed to federal court and subsequently transferred to the multidistrict litigation docket pending in New Jersey.
