TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida federal judge has denied cross-motions for summary judgment in a sinkhole coverage dispute, finding questions of fact as to whether the insured provided prompt notice of its claim to the insurer.

In a Feb. 23 order, Judge James S. Moody Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida further found issues of fact exist as to the amount of the insured’s above ground damages.
