NEW YORK –– A New York trial court has granted an asbestos defendant’s motion to dismiss for lack of both general and specific personal jurisdiction, concluding that the company, which is no longer registered to do business in the state, could not have reasonably foreseen that the plaintiff would use its product in Missouri and subsequently travel to New York.
