Study Finds Benzene Formation in Electronic Cigarettes

PORTLAND, Ore. –– A recent study has found “significant” levels of benzene in e-cigarette vapors when the devices are operated at a high power.
According to the study, released on March 8, the heating of fluids in electronic cigarettes used to create vaping aerosols is “capable of causing a wide range of degradation reaction products.”
