Talcum Powder MDL Judge Issues Order Outlining In Extremis Deposition Protocol

NEWARK, N.J. – The judge overseeing the federal multidistrict litigation docket for talcum powder claims has issued an order on in extremis deposition protocol, mandating that the plaintiffs must submit a number of items to the defendants at least 60 days before an in extremis deposition.

In the Jan. 23 order, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey asked that the plaintiffs provide a letter from the plaintiff’s healthcare provider outlining the medical circumstances and any available medical records relevant to the plaintiff’s cancer treatment.
