ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri federal court has declined to lift a stay implemented in a multi-plaintiff talcum powder case, saying that the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation is set to consider the plaintiffs’ opposition to the conditional transfer order.

In the Dec. 2 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri said that the “plaintiff will have a full and fair opportunity to present their arguments in favor of remand either to the JPML or to the District Court for the District of New Jersey, should the JPML ultimately transfer this action to MDL No. …
