Pa. Federal Court Orders Asbestos Corp. Ltd. To Produce Documents Relating to Asbestos-Containing Products

PHILADELPHIA –– A Pennsylvania federal court has ordered Asbestos Corporation Limited to produce documents relating to its asbestos-containing products in a take-home exposure suit, saying that while a prior, state court order was overly broad, the plaintiffs are still entitled to the documents.

In the Dec. 6 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania wrote that given it had vacated the prior state court order, sanctioning ACL for not complying with the former order would not be appropriate.
