Chubb Permitted to Add Endurance Reinsurance to N.J. Federal Trade Secrets Lawsuit

NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey federal judge has allowed Chubb INA Holdings Inc. to add Endurance Reinsurance Corp. as a defendant in its lawsuit accusing former Chubb employees of improperly using Chubb’s confidential information to pilfer its employees and create a competing risk management business.

In a Nov. 21 order, Judge Brian R. Martinotti of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey granted Chubb’s motion to amend its complaint, ruling that the motion was timely and that defendants will not be unduly prejudiced.
