ATLANTA — One of the individual defendants named in a lawsuit accusing a reinsurer of draining its assets to avoid its reinsurance obligations has moved to dismiss the claims against her for lack of personal jurisdiction, arguing that she lacks the requisite contacts with the forum state.

On Sept. 15, Lou Ellen S. Reavis further asserts that the lawsuit against Golden Isles Reinsurance Company Ltd. is nothing more than an improper attempt to dispute outstanding reinsurance obligations and that she has nothing to do with the settlement balances at issue.
