Pinnacle Hip Implant Defendants Move to Compel Interrogatories, Independent Medical Examination

DALLAS –– The defendants involved in the next bellwether trails scheduled to take place in the coordinated docket for claims relating to DePuy’s Pinnacle Hip Implant have filed separate motions to compel independent medical examination and related radiological testing and to compel the plaintiffs’ responses to the first set of interrogatories.

The defendants filed the separate motions Aug. 3 and Aug. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas; trial is scheduled to begin in the next seven cases to proceed before a jury on Sept. 26, according to a recently filed scheduling order.
