DuPont Opposes MDL Court’s Efforts to Transfer Some C-8 Exposure Cases for Trial

COLUMBUS, Ohio –– DuPont has filed an brief opposing the C-8 personal injury multidistrict litigation court’s plan to transfer some of the cases to other locations within the district for trial, maintaining that the most significant contacts are with the division in which the cases are currently pending.

In Pretrial Order No. 46, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio had stated that the parties and the court are preparing to try 40 of the approximately 3,500 cases in the multidistrict litigation docket and “to provide the resources necessary for these trials,” the MDL Court had ordered …
