MDL Court Enters Judgment in DePuy Hip Implant Case Nearly 2 Years After Jury Reached Defense Verdict

DALLAS –– A Texas federal court has entered a judgment in a case involving DePuy’s Pinnacle hip implant nearly two years after a jury reached a defense verdict in the case, according to a recent order.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas rendered a judgment for DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. and Johnson & Johnson in a case brought by Kathleen Herlihy-Paoli; a jury reached a defense verdict in the case in Oct. 2014.

The court noted “any relief not expressly granted herein is denied.”
