Personal Care Products Council Files Motion to Dismiss Talcum Powder Suit; Says Court Lacks Personal Jurisdiction

ST. LOUIS –– The Personal Care Products Council, named as a defendant in a Missouri talcum powder lawsuit, has moved to dismiss the claims asserted against it, citing lack of personal jurisdiction.

In the July 19 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the defendant said that the plaintiffs have failed to allege anything specific as to the non-profit trade association.
