Calif. Woman Files Suit, Says Baby Powder, Shower-to-Shower Caused Uterine Cancer

SAN FRANCISCO –– A California woman has filed a federal lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies Inc., contending that her use of Baby Powder for “nearly her entire life” caused her to develop cancer.

In the July 8 complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, plaintiff Dolores Gould contended that she develop uterine cancer as a result from using the defendants’ products.

Gould lived in Illinois at the time of her 2006 diagnosis, the complaint said. Born in 1975, Gould said she used Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower all her …
