Fla. Woman Says Invokana Makers Failed to Warn of Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Other Injuries

TRENTON, N.J. — A Florida woman has sued the makers of Invokana in New Jersey federal court, accusing them of failing to warn patients and doctors that the type 2 diabetes drug can cause diabetic ketoacidosis despite being aware that the drug’s harmful side effects outweigh any potential benefits.
